This beautiful monochrome vintage print captures the majestic Glencar Waterfall, located near Glencar Lough in County Leitrim, Ireland. Nestled in a serene forested glen known as “the Glen of the Pillarstone,” the waterfall is one of Ireland’s most celebrated natural sights, and was immortalized in verse by W.B. Yeats in The Stolen Child.
The photograph shows the lowest cascade, plunging in a single dramatic leap of nearly 50 feet, surrounded by lush greenery and the soft tranquility of the Irish countryside.
